entschuldingung

so i just made a new myspace friend today and his name is das ben, but of course he can't have myspace.com/dasben or dasben.com cause i've got them. sorry. i kinda feel bad because he's actually german and so its almost like he deserves the 'das' more than i do. but then again, if he is actually german, he should know that das is neutral and grammatically incorrect.

last week i went to see The Magnetic Fields play a set at Cadogan Hall. it is such a beautiful venue (i also saw Turin Brakes there a few months back). Magnetic Fields plays some of the quirkiest prettiest zombie love songs known to man, but damn they were grumpy buggers. telling the audience off for clapping or talking or pretty much turning up. their rapport was reminiscent of the Hansome Family, but not funny. i'm not sure if it was supposed to be. maybe they are just really miserable bastards. stephen merritt should stay in his room and continue to write beautiful music, but please don't leave it again
