still want a jet pack

but the odd thing is this picture, while identical to the ones from my 1970 books about the future, is actually taken from this week's news. one day people will actually land on the moon. or will they?

anyway i'm rambling for no reason.

this thursday the plastic kitchen are back for the first time in months. we're playing at tupelo. we're joined by amazing guitar man Daniel Green. following our set (starting at 10pm) will be The Proxies, the world's best-named Pixies tribute band. it'll be a great night. and it gives you something to do until they build the moonbase. (you don't need to start packing just yet). b

so they've just put up a whole bunch of billboards telling people to be careful when crossing the street. would it be rude of me if i suggested that any adults that need to be told to look before they cross a street probably deserves to be hit by a car. i mean, c'mon.

ok, now that i've written that last paragragh, the karma turtles in the sky will probably have me be hit by a car tomorrow, and then you'll all laugh at my funeral. so at least i'll go out with a good story.
