Don't believe all you read

This Saturday night is the DAS BEN MILLION MILES AWAY CD RELEASE. Needless to say there's lots of hype and buzz building up around the city. and as a result of this a lot of rumours have been circulating, some are true, some are less true, and some are downright lies made up by me to give me something to write about in this blog entry.

YES CDs will be on sale for a discounted price. For one night only CDs will be available for just $12, and that price will include your gig entry.

YES Kali, Pete, and the Plastic Kitchen will all join me for songs

MAYBE some combination of wellington improvised rockfunkjazzgroove band the hairy lollies will play after my set

YES Oister will be opening the evening with a delicious set of alt-country at 10pm

NO we are not anti folks, parents are welcome at the gig. I will however be playing some of my antifolk tunes

YES there will be at least two new songs being performed (and if you haven't seen me play for a while then there will be lots of songs that are new for you)

YES there will also be songs by Pete, Kali, Cilla, and Cindy

NO there will not be any covers of Leo Sayer songs (we've tried but we just ain't groovy enough)

YES i am looking forward to drinking tequilla with you after my set
